Being a debutant in IPL Alzarri made this superb record on his name where he picked up 6 wickets in just 3.4 overs while conceding just 12 runs. He is also the second youngest bowler(22y 137d) in IPL history to take 5 wicket haul in an IPL match.
#2 Sohail Tanvir - 6/14
Sohail Tanvir also holds the record of a magical spell in IPL history. He made this record in the very first season of IPL while playing for Rajasthan Royals. In his four overs quota, Tanvir conceded just 14 runs and picked up 6 wickets. While in this match CSK reversed their batting lineup where the bowlers opened the innings. But this trick didn't work for them and credit goes to the magnificent spell of Tanvir who dismissed Makhaya Ntini, Muttiah Muralitharan, Albie Morkel, Vidyut Sivaramakrishnan, Stephen Fleming & Parthiv Patel, where he dismissed Fleming & Parthiv Patel for a duck.

#3 Adam Zampa - 6/19
Zampa is the second leggie who made his name in the record of the best bowling figure in IPL history. He made this record while playing for Rising Pune Supergiants in IPL 2016. While bowling first against SRH in the match, Zampa dismissed the key batsmen of the SRH lineup, Kane Williamson, Yuvraj Singh & Moises Henriques. His magical spell helped RPSG to restrict SRH with 137 runs. In his bowling quota of 4 over Zampa picked up 6 wickets while conceding 19 runs.
#4 Akash Madhwal - 5/5
Akash Madhwal is the other name of this season who also made this record for a magical spell. He made his debut this season for Mumbai Indians and the eliminator game was very crucial for him as the Mumbai bowling lineup wasn't star-studded. Madhwal bowled superbly in the game against LSG, conceding just 5 runs in 3.3 overs and picked up 5 wickets, including the most valuable wicket of Nicholas Pooran. With his superb spell, Mumbai won the game with a big margin of 81 runs.

#5 Anil Kumble - 5/5
The veteran leg spinner Anil Kumble, who is famous for his test records, also made his name in t20 history with the best bowling figures in IPL history while playing for RCB. Kumble made this record in IPL 2009, in Newlands stadium, Cape Town against Rajasthan Royals. In this match, RCB batted first and they also reversed their batting lineup in the game. Rajasthan in reply just bowled out for 58 runs and Kumble picked up 5 wickets in 3.1 overs while conceding just 5 runs.

Ishant Sharma bowled this magical spell in IPL 2011 and made his name in the list of the best bowling figure in IPL history. He made the record while playing for Deccan Chargers at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium against Kochi Tuskers Kerala. He dismissed all the top & middle-order batsmen in the lineup including Mahela Jayawardene, Parthiv Patel, Raiphi Gomez, Brad Hodge, and Kedar Jadhav. Among his five wickets, he dismissed all other batsmen for a duck except Mahela Jayawardene.
