He now has 59 wickets to his name in only 6 matches. He scalped 30 of these wickets in the first 3 knockout matches. In the final and the decider match, he completed his stint with 11 wickets for 160 runs.
The MCA posted on Twitter, "The Mumbai U-25 boys win the coveted Col C.K Nayudu Trophy after defeating Vidarbha in an exciting final. We congratulate the boys on an amazing tournament."
Not getting selected by any franchise in the IPL seemed to have boosted Mulani to execute his best in Col C.K Nayudu Trophy. Mulani shared with TOI, "It's hard, but I have to do my job. Selection is not in my control and I'm just trying to do what I can do, that is picking up wickets and scoring runs. I don't think about ifs and buts, I just want to enjoy my cricket."
