ENG vs IND Test Series: Mayank Agarwal ruled out of the first test

Mayank Agarwal has been ruled out of the first test of ENG vs IND Test series. He was hit by a Siraj bouncer in the practice.

More concerns more team India ahead of the big series against England. India will play 5 test matches in the series. However, post WTC Final, India has not found their mojo till now. Opener Shubhman Gill already sent home along with Washintong Sundar and Avesh Khan due to injury. Now, it is Mayank Agarwal who gets ruled out of the first test of ENG vs IND Test series.

It is confirmed that Mayank Agarwal has suffered a head blow by Mohammed Siraj in the nets. Mayank was see holding back of his head after the incident and went into the dressing room along with team physio Nitin Patel. The concussion injury has ruled him out of the first test. However, there is many updates yet to come from the team management.

Who will open for India?

India was already in jeopardy to him to select as an opener in the first test match of ENG vs IND Test series. Inclusion of Prithvi Shaw confused everyone further. However, there was questions on Abhimanyu Easwaran's selections as well. Though the selection panel went with the Bengal opener as a back up opener for the series.

Not to forget this will be India's first series for the next World Test Championship schedule.

Also, Virat and team's batting performance has put many questions among the fans. Moreover, there were questions on Virat as the leader as well. Though the team management is happy enough to have Virat as captain for more times.

With KL Rahul scoring a well-made 100 against the County XI which had Avesh Khan and Washington Sundar playing for them, made the choices clear now. It will be Rohi Sharma and KL Rahul opening the batting for India in IND v ENG Test series.
