Jaskaran Malhotra tops this list of the highest individual score at no. 5 in ODI cricket among all these legendary cricketers. On 9 September 2021, he broke all the previous records and scored 173* runs against Papua New Guinea. The wicketkeeper-batsman is also the first cricketer from the USA to score an ODI ton. He smashed 6 sixes in an over and became the second cricketer to do so in ODIs. Also, he slammed a total of 4 fours and 16 sixes to aggregate the total runs, and without a doubt, USA won the match by 134 runs.

2. AB de Villiers

AB de Villiers thrashed the West Indies bowlers in the 2015 ICC World Cup and scored an unbeaten knock of 162* runs in just 66 balls. This is the second-highest individual score at no. 5 in ODI cricket. He hit 17 fours and 8 sixes to aggregate the total un. This unbelievable knock by the captain surely helped South Africa to win the match by 257 runs.

In the 2nd ODI of Australia tour of New Zealand, Andrew Symonds scored an incredible knock of 156 runs in 127 balls. This is his highest ODI knock that he scored seamlessly with 12 fours and 8 sixes. Without a second thought, he was awarded the Player of the Match award. Also, this match was quite a close call but in the end, Australia won the match by 2 runs.

Once again Andrew Symonds proved his caliber as one of the greatest batting all-rounders after scoring 151 runs against Sri Lanka in the 2nd final of the 2005-06 VB series. In the 4th ODI of 2019 England tour of West Indies, Jos Buttler scored an astounding knock of 150 runs in just 77 balls. The English Vice-captain in limited-overs cricket smashed 13 fours and 12 sixes with a strike rate of 194.80 to score the total runs. Also, England won by 29 runs and Jos Buttler received the Player of the Match award.
