Former Indian opener Murali Vijay will be participating in the upcoming season of the "Tamil Nadu Premier League" (TNPL), the 38-year-old confirmed on Sunday. He also said that he wants to enjoy his game. The Tamil Nadu Premier League is scheduled to start from June 23 onwards.

Coming to the one-day format, Vijay has recorded 339 runs in 17 games at an average of 21.19 and in T20Is he has scored 169 runs in 9 games.

In his 12 years long IPL career, Murali Vijay has aggregated 2619 runs at an average of 25.93 and with a strike rate of 121.87. Vijay has registered 13 half-centuries and two centuries in his 106 innings IPL career.
