The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the Indian Men's Cricket team squad for the remainder of the ongoing India vs England test series on Saturday. Virat Kohli is still not available due to personal reasons and will now miss the whole series against the England team. Shreyas Iyer ruled out due to a fitness issue while pace bowler Akashdeep has been called in after his great show against the England Lions in recent weeks.
KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja have been named in the squad as well. However, after missing the second test due to injuries, both players will now have to pass the fitness test before they take the field in the third test. KS Bharat and Dhruv Jurel are the wicket-keepers of the squad while Mohhamed Siraj came back in the squad after a well-deserved rest in the last test.
Moreover, Jasprit Bumrah has been kept in the squad after the reports of resting him to manage his workload in the series. He will be the vice-captain of the team.
