India’s T20 World Cup Squad Announced; MS Dhoni selected as a mentor

The hype is over now. BCCI has announced India's T20 World Cup Squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup. The Indian team is currently at Manchester preparing for the upcoming fifth test against England. Virat Kohli held a video conference with the selectors to confirm the T20 World Cup Squad. Along with selecting the squad, BCCI has decided to send MS Dhoni as the mentor of the team

The T20 World Cup will commence on 17th October. The selected players will join the team directly from the IPL. Not to forget both the mega cricketing events will take place in UAE.

Highlights Of the 18-men squad are –

• MS Dhoni will be the mentor of the team
• Yuzi Chahal dropped
• Suryakumar Yadav included
• Ravi Ashwin included
• Ishan Kishan included
• 5 Spinners in the Squad
• 3 Pacers in the Squad
• 5 Spinners – Ashwin, Jadeja, Axar, Varun, Rahul Chahar
