The festival of cricket i.e. the new season of IPL is about to start once again on 31st March. The first match of IPL 2023 will be played between the last-time winner Gujarat Giants and Chennai Super Kings. IPL is one of the most popular cricket leagues in the world. Since its inception in 2008, the league has witnessed some of the best cricketers from across the globe showcasing their skills on the field. Over the years, there have been a few players who have had the honor of playing in all seasons of the IPL. Let's take a look at them.

1. MS Dhoni

The former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni, is undoubtedly one of the most popular cricketers in the world. He has played for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in all seasons of the IPL. Under his captaincy, CSK has won three IPL titles and has been one of the most consistent teams in the league. Dhoni's leadership skills, as well as his finishing abilities, have made him a legend in the IPL.

2. Rohit Sharma

The current Indian captain, Rohit Sharma, has been a part of the IPL since its inception. He started his IPL career with the Deccan Chargers before moving to Mumbai Indians in 2011. Since then, he has been a key player for the team and has led them to five IPL titles. Rohit's ability to score big runs at the top of the order, as well as his captaincy skills, make him a valuable asset for Mumbai Indians.

3. Virat Kohli

The former India captain Virat Kohli is the only player in the history of the IPL to turn out for the same franchise in every edition from 2008 to 2021. He made his debut for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in 2008 and remains with them even now. Although RCB did not win the IPL with him as captain, they made the final in 2016 and have reached the playoffs in the last two seasons. Kohli is the only batter with 6000 IPL runs. He has 6624 runs from 223 matches at an average of 37.39 and a strike rate of 129.94 with 5 hundreds and 42 fifties.

4. Dinesh Karthik

Dinesh Karthik has played for five different teams in the IPL, but he has been a part of the league since its inception. He started his IPL career with Delhi Daredevils and has since played for Kings XI Punjab, Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Lions, and Kolkata Knight Riders. He is currently playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore team. Karthik's wicket-keeping skills, as well as his ability to finish games, make him a valuable player in the IPL.

5. Shikhar Dhawan

Shikhar Dhawan also played in every IPL season. The senior Indian opener is the second-leading run-getter in the IPL. He has 6224 runs from 192 matches at an average of 35.08 and a strike rate of 126.64 with 2 hundreds and 47 fifties. Over the years, Shikhar Dhawan has represented multiple franchises – Delhi, Mumbai, Deccan, and Sunrisers. He holds the record for being the only batter to strike consecutive hundreds in the IPL. This season, he will be representing Punjab Kings in IPL 2023. 

6. Manish Pandey

Indian batter Manish Pandey has also featured in every IPL season from 2008 till date. Pandey started his career with MI and moved to RCB, Pune, KKR, and SRH. He was the man of the match in the 2014 IPL final when KKR defeated Punjab Kings in a high-scoring encounter. He hammered 94 off 50 as Kolkata chased down a target of 200. Pandey hasn't been able to replicate that success. The 32-year-old has 3648 runs from 160 matches at an average of 29.90 and a strike rate of 121.83. He will represent Lucknow Supergiants in Ipl 2023.

7. Wriddhiman Saha

Wriddhiman Saha is a wicket-keeper batsman who has been a consistent performer in the Indian Premier League (IPL) since its inception in 2008. He has been a part of the league every year and has played for various teams throughout his IPL career. Saha started his IPL career with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in 2008, but he did not get many opportunities to play in the first two seasons. In 2011, Saha was picked up by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and he played a vital role in their success that year. He scored 206 runs in the tournament and played some crucial innings for the team. After that, Saha was bought by Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and he had his best IPL season that year. Now currently he belonged to Gujarat Titans in IPL 2023.
