How to watch the MI vs DC IPL 2024 Match?
The Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Capitals IPL 2024 match will be televised on Star Sports Network. All the Indian Premier League matches will be streamed free on the Jio Cinema app and website.
Pitch & Weather Report
The Wankhede pitch has hosted 110 matches in the Indian Premier League to date. The teams batting first and second have nearly equal chances of winning the game. The pitch is very good for batting due to the nature of the wicket and small boundaries. Pacers do get some early swing but the batters mostly dominate the games in Mumbai. Chasing might be the best option considering the dew factor.
The temperatures will be between 34 and 31 degrees Celsius with humidity from 24 percent to 40 percent in the evening. There is no chance of rain.

Mumbai Indians
Mumbai Indians are struggling at the moment. They have started the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League with three straight losses. They will be desperate to register a victory in their second home game of the season but few players have to step up to make it possible. Suryakumar Yadav is back in the MI camp and it will be interesting to watch if he plays against Delhi Capitals. Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan will be opening the proceedings with the bat for MI with Naman Dhir and Tilak Varma coming at no 3 and 4 respectively.
We believe in सूर्या दादा supremacy 💪💥

Hardik Pandya did contribute some runs to the scoreboard in the previous match and will be hoping to replicate that performance against DC too. Tim David has been playing the role of a finisher from the previous season and he has scored many runs after coming down to bat at no 5 or 6.

Jasprit Bumrah is leading the pace attack of MI and he has been consistent in the three matches so far this season. He has been exceptional with his important spells and he needed someone to deliver alongside him and Akash Madhwal delivered in the last game. He was brilliant in the last season and played his first IPL 2024 game against RR and picked up three wickets in his 4-over spell. Gerald Coetzee did bowl well in the first game but he couldn't replicate that performance in the next two matches. Mumbai Indians will have to deliver as a team and they will be desperate to register their first victory of the season.
Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals are another team who are struggling to find momentum at the moment. In the previous game against KKR, they conceded the second-highest total in the history of the competition. Rishabh Pant tried seven bowlers but none of them could deliver and the team paid the price. The batting was not good either. David Warner and Prithvi Shaw both failed to provide the team with a solid start and Mitchell Marsh once again failed to score for the team in a serious situation. He hasn't lived up to the hype for DC and the middle order is looking very thin at the moment.
Abishek Porel hasn't scored runs since his brilliant cameo in the first of the season. Rishabh Pant scored back-to-back half-centuries and Tristan Stubbs was the one who helped him get going. But after their fall, DC couldn't stand and lost the match by a huge margin. Delhi Capitals are very inconsistent with their decisions and performances. Sometimes the players are performing and sometimes they are not.
DC must replace Marsh with someone else as he is not giving good performances despite getting so many opportunities. The bowlers have to perform consistently otherwise it is going to be worse. Anrich Nortje did pick up three wickets in the last match but leaked so many runs while Axar Patel only got one over as it was not a spin-friendly track. They are expected to perform better this time as the Wankhede is a good track for both batting and bowling.
