Pitch & Weather Report
The Wankhede pitch has hosted 111 matches in the Indian Premier League to date. The teams batting first and second have nearly equal chances of winning the game. The pitch is very good for batting due to the nature of the wicket and small boundaries. Pacers do get some early swing but the batters mostly dominate the games in Mumbai. Chasing might be the best option considering the dew factor.
The temperature will be around 25 degrees Celsius. However, there will be humidity of about 65-75 percent which will bring dew into play and there is no chance of rain.

Mumbai Indians
MI are expected to play with the same eleven they used in the game against Delhi Capitals. Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan are set to open the inning with the bat and they looked in fine form. Suryakumar Yadav played his first game of the season and was dismissed for a duck. So, he will be looking to get going as soon as possible. Hardik Pandya hasn't delivered this season and he needs to work on himself. Though, he bowled in the last game, we have seen him bowling hard in the training. Tim David and Romario Shepherd have done a perfect job batting down the order and Mumbai will be happier if they can do the same against RCB.

Gerald Coetzee made a strong comeback in the game against DC after some mediocre performances. He picked up four wickets while Jasprit Bumrah, who is at the peak of his career, will be leading the pace attack against RCB. Piyush Chawla is the weak link in Mumbai's bowling setup and that's why they played Nabi alongside him. Nabi's inclusion did not go as per the plan, but the experienced campaigner surely can cause some damage with bat and ball.

Royal Challengers Bangalore
RCB are looking like the worst side of this season. They have lots of problems and they haven't figured it out. Faf du Plessis is struggling to provide a start which is expected from him and the responsibility is coming upon the shoulders of Virat Kohli. The former India and RCB skipper scored a century in the last game but he was criticized for scoring the slowest century in the history of IPL. Although he maintained a strike rate of 150+, he was on the receiving end. It's a shame that he is carrying the team on his own but getting criticized consistently.

That’s probably how David Attenborough would describe the shot and he wouldn’t be wrong! 😬#PlayBold #ನಮ್ಮRCB #IPL2024 @imVkohli pic.twitter.com/1rUoVPR0Hs
The other batters like Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green, and Patidar are just awful to watch at the moment right now and they haven't helped the team a bit. They must introduce Will Jacks and he might be the guy who can help the team, taking some responsibilities. Dinesh Karthik has delivered some performances here and there but it is not the option. The bowling has been the biggest problem for RCB over the years and they are yet to solve that. Mohammed Siraj needs someone who will stop the flow of runs and only then he can perform at his level. Yash Dayal is inconsistent and Dagar is not the replacement for Chahal as he hasn't produced anything for the team yet. RCB have to find a way to solve the problems or this is going to be one of the worst seasons for them.
