Punjab Kings vs Lucknow Super Kings | Team News
Punjab Kings
Kings have no such issues in their team. They've backed themselves to play the games and find themselves on the same points as eight as Super Giants. Without their prime captain Shikhar Dhawan, Punjab Kings had an inexperienced top three that hasn't carried the baggage of the past and have tried to play with freedom. Liam Livingstone's return after missing the first few games has been timely.
PBKS have been over-reliant on Arshdeep Singh, who has delivered in crunch moments. He was brilliant against Mumbai Indians in the last game. Rahul Chahar hasn't been consistent, while Nathan Ellis and Curran have proved expensive. If the Kings can have a fully-fit Kagiso Rabada back and fire, they'll add another dimension to their bowling side.
Lucknow Super Giants
It is the bowling where Lucknow Super Giants are having edges. Their variety and class are likely to bring the long boundaries into play. At 40, Amit Mishra continuing his best by picking up wickets in regular intervals while his appearance inspiring Ravi Bishnoi and Krunal Pandya to keep themselves in control. The spin attack is restricting the opposition batters from scoring in the middle overs.
In batting, Kl Rahul has to step up with massive innings as he is not playing the t20 like t20. He is scoring runs but struggling at the same time. Kyle Mayers has to regain his form back otherwise LSG have a perfect man for the job and he is at his peak. Yes, it is De Kock who is sitting on the bench so the openers have to step up and score by changing the gears when needed.
