Glenn Maxwell smacked a six off Ashwin making his intentions clear right from the start. This was a good start by Maxwell as he was providing much-needed acceleration for the innings. The RCB skipper completed his seventh half-century of the season. A mature inning from a world-class batter in an important situation. He also completed 4000 runs in the IPL. Adam Zampa completely shifted the momentum by scalping two wickets in the same over. At first, it was Lomror who lost his wicket and then the veteran DK got out for a duck. Right from ball one, he made his intentions clear he played some of his vintage shots reminding Maxwell of the old. Anuj Rawat then played a blistering cameo of 29 runs in just 11 deliveries with 3 fours and 2 sixes to end the RCB inning for 171 after 20 overs.
