After heartbreak on the very first day of the Senior Women's T20 tournament, Bengal made a strong comeback in their second game against Saurashtra. They defeated Saurashtra by 10 wickets as Deepti Sharma scored a half-century after picking up 2 wickets in the first innings. Saurashtra set a target of 78 runs that was chased down by Bengal inside 14.2 overs at the JSCA Oval Stadium, Ranchi.

After winning the toss Saurashtra skipper Jayu Jadeja opted to bat first against Bengal Women. However, Bengal started to dominate them from the start. Bengal got off a good start as they picked up 6 wickets inside just 10 overs. All the top order and middle order batters of Saurashtra have gone for a single-digit score. Meanwhile, Dharani (23) and Dhabi (16) started some late fireworks as Saurashtra reached a total of 77/8 in 20 overs.
For Bengal, Aich took three wickets giving away just 6 runs in her 3 overs spell while Deepti took two in her four overs. Meanwhile, Titas Sadhu and Gouher Sultana took one wicket each. Skipper Rumeli Dhar and Isaque were economical as well.
In the run chase opener, Mita Paul and Deepti Sharma made it easy for the Bengal side. They made a partnership of 79* runs in 86 balls to end up Saurashtra's hope. Deepti Sharma remained unbeaten on 50 runs off 45 balls while Mita Paul remained unbeaten on 25 runs off 41 balls. Moreover, Deepti's inning of 50* includes 7 boundaries. No bowler from Saurashtra stands up in front of the Bengal openers as all of them gone wicketless. Bengal finished on 79/0 in 14.2 overs and claimed their first victory of the Senior Women's T20 tournament.
