Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Haryana and Karnataka qualified for the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023-24 semi-finals after winning their respective quarter-final games in Rajkot on Monday.
QF 1 | Bengal vs Haryana
Haryana defeated Bengal in the first quarter-final of the day as Yuzvendra Chahal's spin was found to be too good for Bengal batters. Chahal picked up 37/4 in his full quota of 10 overs to restrict Bengal to 225 in the first inning. Rahul Tewatia also picked up 2 wickets for them. Shahbaz Ahmed scored a wonderful ton for Bengal.
During the chase, Haryana was hit by two early wickets but a century from opener Ankit Kumar (102) helped them win the match easily. Pradipta Pramanik was the pick of the bowlers for Bengal with 29/2.

QF2 | Rajasthan vs Kerala
Rajasthan defeated Kerala by 200 runs in the second quarter-final of Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023/24. Batting first Rajasthan scored 267/8, all thanks a stunning unbeaten ton from Mahipal Lomror 122 (114).
Batting second, Kerala's inning could not going from the start. Moreover, without Sanju Samson in the team, the rest of the players struggled to find any solutions against pacers from Rajasthan. They were bundled out for 67. Aniket Choudhary took 4 wickets and Arafat Khan took 3 wickets for Rajasthan.

QF 3 | Vidarbha vs Karnataka
In the third quarter-final, Karnataka defeated Vidrabha by 7 wickets to qualify for the semi-finals. Batting first, Vidarbha could only manage 173 before getting bundled out by the Karnataka bowlers. Karun Nair, who recently changed his state to Karnataka to Vidarbha, could only manage to score 5 against his former team. Vijaykumar Vyshak took 44/4 for Karnatak team.
Karnatak's strong batting lineup did not have to struggle against bowlers like Umesh Yadav and Yash Thakur. Half-centuries from R Samarth (72*) and Mayank Agarwal (51) helped Karnataka chase down the score in just 40.3 overs.

QF4 | Mumbai vs Tamil Nadu
Tamli Nadu qualified for the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023-24 semi-finals after defeating Mumbai by 7 wickets. Mumbai batting first scored 227. Ajinkya Rahane scored only for Mumbai. Shivam Dube's 45 and Prasad Pawar's 59 helped them reach a respectable total in the first inning. Sai Kishore and Varun Chakravarthy took three wickets each for Tamil Nadu.
Baba Aparajit and N. Jagadeesan gave a solid start to Tamil Nadu in the chase. But, it was Baba Indrajit's unbeaten 103 from 98 balls that took them home easily against the Mumbaikars. Vijay Shankar also remained unbeaten on 51 from 58.
