Bengal has defeated Baroda in the group stage match of Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024 at the Gymkhana Ground, in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Batting first, Baroda scored 228 runs. During this, Shashwat Rawat played an important inning of 95 runs. He hit 10 fours and 2 sixes. Apart from him, Bhanu Pania scored 42 runs (51). During this, Mukesh Kumar took 2 wickets while bowling lethally for Bengal. Sayan Ghosh and Pradipta Pramanik got 3-3 wickets.
Howvever, Hardik Pandya could not do anything special. Facing 2 balls, he got out after scoring 1 run. Hardik has recently made a comeback for Baroda. But he flopped even with his comeback. He could not play in the initial matches of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024. He played his last match for Baroda on 13 December. Now he came on the field again on Saturday.
