India's batting stalwart Virat Kohli is one of the most loved cricketers globally. The 33-year-old has a massive fan base with over 250 million followers across social media platforms. Fans love to catch a glimpse of the Indian cricketer. Kohli also knows this very well and always obliges to his fans' requests. However, sometimes fans go over the line and the cricketer has warned about it time and again.
Virat Kohli is currently in Australia for the T20 World Cup 2022, someone recorded a video of how his hotel room looks and posted it on social media. Kohli also came across this video and has been left fuming at the culprit. The Indian cricketer shared a social media post in the same regard where he slammed 'the fan' right, left, and center.
Kohli said he is not okay with such kind of fanaticism. The star cricketer said that this leaked video of his hotel room has left him paranoid about his privacy. He also urged everyone to respect people's privacy and not treat them as a commodity for entertainment.
"I understand that fans get very happy and excited seeing their favorite players and get excited to meet them and I've always appreciated that. But this video here is appalling and it's made me feel very paranoid about my privacy. If I cannot have privacy in my own hotel room, then where can I really expect any personal space at all?? I'm NOT okay with this kind of fanaticism and absolute invasion of privacy. Please respect people's privacy and not treat them as a commodity for entertainment," wrote Kohli on social media.
