Indian skipper Rohit Sharma announced in the pre-match press conference yesterday that 21-year-old Jaiswal will make his debut for India. Alongside him, Ishan Kishan also received the cap today before the 1st test of the WIvsIND series at Windsor Park in Roseau, Dominica. Jaiswal was part of the reserve squad during the World Test Championship final between India and Australia last month but couldn't get the opportunity. On the other hand, Kishan was included in India's Test squad for the Border Gavaskar trophy series at home and the WTC Final squad after Rahul's injury.

Yashasvi Jaiswal represents Mumbai in domestic cricket. The 21-year-old Jaiswal worked so hard in domestic cricket and continued his good run for India A he finally got the deserving call into the Test team in the new cycle.
