The first duo on this list is Marnus Labuschagne and David Warner of Australia. The opener David Warner and the third batter on the lineup Marnus had some great partnerships in the past. Their highest partnership run is 1222 with an average of 101.83. In the ongoing second test match of the Ashes tournament, they scored a partnership of 172 on 16 December 2021 hosted in Adelaide. The duo also made a record of scoring the second-highest partnership runs in the ICC World Test Championship when they made 361 runs against Pakistan on 29 November 2019.

The second-highest partnership runs in the World Test Championship is made by once again two Australian cricketers; Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith. The individual skills of these top-order batters are outstanding. The duo made a partnership of 967* runs with an average of 69.07. One of their most memorable partnership knock was against New Zealand where they made 156 on 3rd January 2020. Both the cricketers are individually performing great in the ongoing Ashes series. A great partnership can be expected from the duo in the next matches.

Dimuth Karunaratne and Lahiru Thirimanne of Sri Lanka scored the third-highest partnership runs in World Test Championship. With an average of 71.18, the duo scored a partnership of 783 runs. One of their most memorable partnership came against Bangladesh when they scored 209 runs on 29th April 2021.

4. Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane

The partnership of Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane has always played a crucial role for India. The duo of the captain and vice-captain made a partnership of 714 runs at an average of 54.92 in the World Test Championship. Both of them have executed so many memorable individual performances and partnerships. Their highest partnership is against South Africa when they scored 178 runs on 10th October 2019. Their partnerships and individual performances helped India to win matches so many times previously and we will continue doing so in the future as well.

5. Cheteshwar Pujara and Rohit Sharma

The fifth duo in this list is Cheteshwar Pujara and Rohit Sharma by scoring 691 runs with an average of 49.35. Pujara's contribution to the Indian test team has mostly been phenomenal. The captain of the white ball Cricket of the Indian team is also not left behind when it comes to individual contribution for India. The duo hit a partnership of 169 runs against South Africa on 2nd October 2019. Another of their memorable partnership was against England when they made 153 runs on 2nd September 2021.
