The wicketkeeper-batsman hurt his left index finger while keeping against fast bowler Hasan Mahmud during the second T20I at the Harare Sports Club Ground on Sunday. However, Bangladesh won the match by seven wickets to level the series 1-1.
'We did an X-ray which revealed a fracture to the index finger.'
Bangladesh physio Muzadded Alpha Sany was quoted as saying in the media release
'Such injuries take about three weeks to recover from. He is therefore out of Tuesday's last T20 match and the upcoming ODI series,' he added.
BCB did not inform who will replace Nurul as the captain for the third and final T20I on Tuesday, August 2. The series is currently standing at 1-1.
Following the series-deciding T20I on August 2, Bangladesh will play three ODIs on August 5, 7, and 10 respectively.
