Arsenal thought they had the match. But the referee had already blown the whistle for the foul. Havertz was able to get the ball over the goalie with Jesus helping the ball into the goal. But, the goal is denied. 

Jesus with a good strike but Kelleher was there to handle the shot. 

Havertz lobbed the ball for Jesus to cut it back. But it was too close and tight for the Brazilian. First corner of the game for Arsenal.

Yellow card for David Raya for delaying the game. 

Gravenberch did well to win the ball back Liverpool but shit shot was nowhere near the goal.  

Szoboszlai, Tsimikas and Gakpo come in for Diaz, Robertson and Mac Allister.

Some serious pressure applied by Salah and company as Trent's shot gets a deflection and wins the corner. 

Trent Alexander-Arnold takes his chance with a right-footed long-range shot. The shot goes wide. 

Salah made a brilliant turn in their half and after making a solid run, made a cutback before lobbing the ball over to Diaz, who was juts offside.

Salah nearly found the net from a close-range shot from the right. However, Raya had a touch to it and negate the attack. 

Diaz on the byline first nutmegged Partey and then went past Ben White before tussling against Raya before the goalpost.

Brilliant game so far. Saka with an early goal for Arsenal. Virgil van Dijk scored on his 100th Liverpool game as captain while Mikel Merino scored his first goal for Arsenal. 

Mac-Allister with the header as he looked for his first goal of the season. Raya was cautioned enough to grab the ball. 

It is like inches. VAR took a while to declare this goal. But, it is the right decision. Arsenal take the lead back. 

It is very close as Merino looks so close to being offside. VAR taking a lot of time to check everything. It is very close. 

The set-piece has worked for Arsenal again. Declan Rice with the free-kick and Merino comes from front to head the ball inside the goal.

Arial cross from Martinelli and it somehow went over a jumping Van Dijk and Robertson and looks like Havertz was not ready to take advantage. The ball hits his face and another chance gone begging for the home team. 

Brilliant from Merino to get the ball down from the air and then play it to Martinelli who could not get the shot from the right spot of the boot.

Konate tangled with Martinelli and the ball fell onto the feet of Havertz, who missed the volley. Arsenal were appealing for a penalty but declined. 

Arsenal again getting the better of Liverpool fullbacks. Martinelli with the cross for Saka, but it was too long for him. Havertz had the chance on the far post to go for a shot but he could not control the ball well with his first touch. 

Martinelli was running away with the ball after receiving a long ball from Merino. But Konate was there to negate the attack.

Saka gets the better of Robertson again as the English winger made a quick cut back and then went for a shot with his left-foot. However, he missed the target this time.

Saka causing some real issues for Liverpool on the right. This time he mixed it up with some speed and dribbling before sending a cross. But van Dijk was there to head the ball out. 

Trent Alexander Arnold with the corner and Diaz's deflection with the back of the head fell perfectly for Liverpool's captain to come from behind and head the ball for his first goal of the season.

Van Dijk found Diaz with an inch-perfect long ball. But after a weak first-touch, Diaz gave Partey the chance to deflect the ball for a corner.

Mikel Merino lost the ball just before the box and Salah came in running to make a left-footed effort. Raya was caught off-guard but Salah was off-target with his shot.

Bukayo Saka and Jurrien Timber returned to the playing XI from injury. Martin Odegaard and Riccardo Calafiori miss the match due to injuries.

Donnarumma had to jump and punch it for another corner. 

Down the left side, with some quick feet dribbling, Vitinha dribbled past defenders before lobbing the ball towards the goal.

Raya grabbed the ball easily.

Mendes made a brilliant run after receiving the ball from Kvaratskhelia. Mendes laid the ball for Doue to go for a shot. 

In the end, it was a weak, off-target shot from Doue. 

Neves first won the ball from Lewis-Skelly, and then Timber tackled to win the ball back for Arsenal. 

Finally, the referee had enough and gave a free-kick to PSG for a foul on Doue. 

A huge roar erupts as Dembele starts warming up.

Timber was able to find Saka on the right flank and before Saka could try to enter the box, Kvaratskhelia won the ball back from him.

Arsenal dominated the first 15 minutes of the game. But saves from Donnarumma made sure PSG did not concede any before Fabian Ruiz scored a screamer to hand PSG the lead.

Huge, huge, save from Raya. 

Another mistake from Arsenal, and Kvaratskhelia ran away with the ball. 

He found Barcola with a cross pass. But with his weak foot, Barcola could not find the power to beat Raya. 

Fabian Ruiz gives PSG the lead. An important lead. 

From the free-kick, the ball was not cleared well by Partey, and it fell perfectly for Fabian Ruiz to go for a powerful volley.

After a slight deflection, it went inside the goal.

Sloppy from Saliba and Barcola took the chance to nearly go one-on-one against Raya. 

Barcola crossed the ball to Doue, who took some time before Arsenal stopped the attack. 

We all know they are very dangerous from set pieces.

Marquinhos started the attack for PSG, and Doue linked up with Kvaratskhelia.
