Although Aston Villa dominated the first half, they could not manage to score any goals in the first half. The second half started with a bang as Dejan Kulusevski scored another goal for the Spurs at the start of the second half.

After that, Villa could not show any resistance against the Spurs' attack. Son scored his second goal in the 66th minute with a bullet from his left foot. The ball deflected from Kane and Son completed the goal.
