Atletico Madrid:
Atletico Madrid's dream is to add a Champions League to their cabinet, following their last season's title win. However, they are already at the risk of losing it as they sit uncomfortably at 3rd on the table; meaning that they will drop down to Europa League in the coming days. With Liverpool completing the double revenge on them, the Rojiblancos are suffering to get back on track. Meanwhile, in La Liga, they have performed quite well. An 87th-minute goal from Felipe saw Atletico claim a narrow 1-0 success over Osasuna at the weekend. Atletico Madrid will be looking forward to making it two out of two against AC Milan this season.

AC Milan:Â
On the other hand, Pioli's side managed to get their first point of the 2021-22 Champions League last time out against Porto, but it may be too little too late for the Serie A giants to salvage anything in Europe, as they sit bottom of the table. AC Milan has no chance to make it to the top 2. With their recent 4-3 defeat against Fiorentina in the league, it seems hard for the Rossoneri to keep themselves motivated.
Milan has now failed to win in three games across all competitions since the start of the month and with a match left against Liverpool at San Siro on the final day, so the importance of a first away Champions League win since November 2013 will be well cherished.

Liverpool has turned the tables beautifully in recent times. They were a great force in the European competition but suddenly went numb. Liverpool had a rough patch where they went trophyless for many years. With the appointment of Jurgen Klopp as manager, Liverpool slowly redeemed themselves. In the 2017-18 season, they reached the UCL finals but failed to win against Real Madrid.
Next season they came back stronger, from a 3-0 defeat in the first leg to win 4-0 in the second leg and knocked Barcelona out of the UCL semis. Liverpool went on to be the champions defeating Spurs by 2-0 in the all-English final to win their 6th UCL trophy. Their great comeback against Milan in 2005 at Istanbul still gives goosebumps to every football fan.

FC Barcelona are one of the biggest clubs in Europe with a great history in the UCL. They have won the title 5 times, while three of them came in the last decade. Their famous Lamasia - The FC Barcelona academy produced world-class players at the time. Players like Andres Iniesta, Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Gerard Pique and many more were a part of the academy.
Coach Pep Guardiola conquered the world with some beautiful football. He managed to win both the Treble and Sextuple during his reign. A few years later Luis Enrique guided them to their 5th UCL title and also a treble. That was Barcelona's last high run in the UCL. After that, they have faced some problems and have not been able to continue their dominance in European football.
AFC Ajax has a great history. They are the only team to win the UCL 4 times which is not from the top 5 leagues. Football maestro Johan Cruyff was from this team, he later changed the definition of playing football. Introducing Tiki-taka football to the world, Ajax had a great run in the past. He later influenced Barcelona to play that type of football which brought them huge success in the end.
They last won the title in 1995 when the likes of Van der Sar, and Rijkaard used to play for them. Since then they have reached the UCL semifinal in 2019 upsetting big teams and then lost to the Spurs in the semifinal in the dying minutes. Ajax's run is considered one of the greatest underdogs in the history of the UEFA Champions League.

Manchester United have also won the treble and enlisted themselves in an elite list in World Football. Since then they qualified for two Champions League finals but faced defeat against FC Barcelona.
Internazionale won two of their three trophies back in the 1960s. Since then, they have been having a disappointing year in and year out. Their recent UCL title was in 2009-10 when Jose Mourinho took charge. They were not the favourites in that season, yet they went on to win the UCL.
Jose Mourinho at that time was emerging as one of the best coaches in the world. He played typical defensive football, frustrating his opponents, which created mistakes. They capitalised on those mistakes and went on to win their 3rd Champions League. They defeated the heavyweights Barcelona in the semis and Bayern Munich in the final to clinch their title.

Final verdict!
So it will be another El Classico in the Copa Del Rey final in Sevilla. Barcelona were the better team and attacked more in the first half, resulting in a goal from Ferran Torres. They could have scored more if they had latched onto the chances created mainly by Lamine Yamal.
But atletico Madrid brought in three changes at the start of the second half, which made them attack more frequently and freely.
However, despite a few chances, they were not able to score. Jules Kounde was excellent for Barcelona, making multiple blocks in the final 15 mins of the game.
This means that Barcelona will meet Real Madrid in the Copa del Dey final and will be another step closer to their target of a treble.

Read the full match preview of the Atletico Madrid vs FC Barcelona clash tonight in the Copa Del Rey 2024-25 Semi-final 2, Second Leg at the Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid, Spain.
Atletico Madrid are set to host FC Barcelona in a fiery second-leg game in the Copa Del Rey 2024-25 Semi-final 2, as a nail-biting encounter will unfold tonight at the Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid, Spain.
The tie is currently poised in a thrilling position with the Copa Del Rey final at stake after the teams shared the spoils in a 4-4 draw on 26 February, in the first leg at the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium in Barcelona.
Real Madrid have sealed their passage to the finals following another thrilling 4-4 draw against Real Sociedad, advancing 5-4 in aggregate. The second semi-final tonight will set up a potential El Clascio or Madrid Derby in the Copa Del Rey 2024-25 Final on April 26 at the Estadio La Cartuja in Sevilla.
From possible starting XIs to Fantasy predictions, here is everything you need to know about the Atletico Madrid vs FC Barcelona Second Leg match in the Copa Del Rey 2024-25 Semi-final 2.
They failed to keep up a two-goal advantage to lose 4-2 in their home league match against league-leaders Barcelona, before they came back from the international break with a 1-1 draw against Espanyol in an away match. Consequently, the Copa del Rey is Atletico's best hope to lift a trophy this season as they will be seeking to win the tournament for the first time since 2012-13.
However, head coach Diego Simeone must look for the best combination before fielding his eleven tonight. Veteran midfielder Koke is set to miss this game, whereas Robin Le Normand is doubtful. Forward Angel Correawill serve the third of a five-match ban.
The semi-final tie with Barcelona is perfectly balanced after Atletico scored two late goals to earn a 4-4 draw in last month's away leg, though the Rojiblancos may find themselves tensed by the fact that they have not advanced beyond their previous three Copa del Rey semi-final ties.

Unlike their hosts, FC Barcelona are still in the race to win three more titles alongside the Spanish Super Cup, won in January. The Blaugranas have registered a 20-game unbeaten streak in all competitions (W17, D3) since losing 2-1 to Atletico Madrid in December's league match at home.
They are sitting atop the La Liga table with 66 points in 29 games, are in the Champions League quarter-finals, and are on the verge of qualifying for a first Copa del Rey final since clinching it in 2020-21.
Interestingly, The Catalan side have defeated each of their last three away games against Atletico since losing 2-0 to them in a La Liga encounter in October 2021.
Barcelona gaffer Hansi Flick announced Raphinha and Cubarsi's return to the team. On the other hand, Marc Andre Ter Stegen returned to training but will not be available. Marc Casado suffered an unfortunate injury, while Marc Bernal and Andreas Christensen are recovering from long-term injuries.
