First Half:
Manchester United started brilliantly. They kept the majority of the positions and showed intensity right from the start. Casemiro gave an early lead to Manchester United by scoring a brilliant goal. Casemiro's right-footed shot from the left side of the six-yard box ended in the top left corner in the 9th minute of the match. United attackers kept on attacking but couldn't score more. Bournemouth relied on counters but DDG kept United clean for the rest of the half.
Second Half:
Manchester United started the second half with the same intensity but there were too many errors from some of the players. Bruno wasn't having his best game. Too many miss passes and wrong decisions makings which no one expects from him. Antony who was brilliant lately couldn't able to deliver after getting few chances. Sancho has been very poor since his arrival at the club and against Bournemouth, it was the same.
Bournemouth tried to hit United on counters a couple of times but the Golden Glove winner was at his best today. United managed to control after the substitution of Sancho. Garnacho came in and pushed Bournemouth on the back foot. There were a couple of chances to score another one but failed to test the goalkeeper. Bournemouth tried to put United under pressure during the later stages of the match but the Red Devils kept their shape and got away with a 1-0 victory. Liverpool on the other hand drew their match against Aston Villa which mathematically ended the hopes for the top 4. They still have one game left but United just need a single point in their remaining two games to seal the top 4.
