Chelsea transfer: Chelsea eye Onana and Osimhen?

The Ecuadorian, strongly linked to Arsenal back in January, will cost around £80m and is said to have his heart set on a move to Stamford Bridge and an alliance with their new manager, Mauricio Pochettino.

In another earth-shattering transfer development in Chelsea transfer news, and sticking with those illustrious Premier League London clubs, it's being reported that Kai Havertz has given the nod to a switch from the over-staffed Chelsea dressing room to Arsenal.

Why sign one Onana when you can sign two? The Everton midfielder Amadou Onana is also on Chelsea's radar after a strong first season at Goodison Park. The 21-year-old Belgium international would seem a natural long-term replacement for N'Golo Kanté, who is off to Saudi Arabia.

It is not the first Onana that Chelsea have been connected with in the transfer window, with the Blues also scouting the possibility of signing goalkeeper Andre Onana from Inter Milan.

The 27-year-old Cameroonian goalkeeper, who served a nine-month drug ban in 2021, has become one of Europe's most desired shot-stoppers following his Champions League performances this season, as Inter reached the final.

The Blues are seeking to improve on their 12th-placed finish in this Premier League season, as they were helmed by three managers and another interim gaffer.

Pochettino is set to take charge from the start of next month, and will have to overhaul the playing personnel significantly.
