Chelsea was found to be the better team against other arch-rival Spurs in the Premier Lague derby at Samford Bridge. A sensational goal from Hakim Ziyech and a jaw-dropping header from Thiago Silva was enough to seal the Chelsea vs Tottenham derby for the home team.

Chelsea vs Tottenham: First half

Thomas Tuchel's men were on spot from the whistle. In the opening 12th minute, Ziyech's header was saved by Hugo Lloris, the Spurs goal-keeper to avoid early damage. However, it was Harry Kane who was thought to be the first one to make a mark in the derby. Although he was found fouling Thiago Silva in the process.

Chelsea vs Tottenham: Second half

As the second half started, Chelsea looked like a different team. Within the two minutes of the second half, Hakim Ziyech scored a stunner to make it 1-0 for the Blues. It was a left-footed shot from outside the box to the top left corner. Callum Hudson-Odoi was the man with assist.

Soon after the celebration could over, it was the evergreen Thiago Silva who joined the scoring list. On the 55th minute of the match, Silva headed the ball into the right bottom corner of the goal to make it 2-0 for Chelsea. Not to forget a perfect loft from Mason Mount.

After going 2-0 down, Tottenham made some desperate changes. Lucas Moura replaced Ryan Sessegnon. Meanwhile, Oliver Skipp replaced Japhet Tanganga.

Even with all the ball position, Kepa Arrizabalaga had to make some sharp saves to keep Chelsea ahead of the Spurs. In fact, one brut of a header from Harry Kane was saved by the Chelsea No.1, which was the only hope for the Spurs fans.

Therefore, Chelsea stays third on the Premier League points after winning all the available points in the Chelsea vs Tottenham clash. This is now their sixth win in seven matches against Tottenham in Premier League.
