Cristiano Ronaldo News: The 38-year old wins Saudi Player of the Month award

In Cristiano Ronaldo news, we have Portuguese legend, Cristiano Ronaldo who was named Saudi Player of the Month in the month of August. He scored five goals and also provided two assists in his three appearances for Al Nassr last month.

Saudi Player of the Month award

The month of August didn't start as well as Al Nassr would've hoped for. They suffered two defeats in the first two games, despite having a star struck team. But Ronaldo helped his team rose back to the front, as we've seen him do before.

In the match against Al Fateh, Ronaldo scored an amazing hat-trick and also provided a fantastic back heel pass which turned into an assist and helped his team onto a 5-0 victory.

In the last Matchday of the month, Al Nassr was scheduled to face Al Sadab. The match started well for Luis Castro's side as Ronaldo scored a penalty in the opening minutes of the game.

He again went on to score with his head but it was disallowed, which took a toll on him because it was an inexplicable mistake by the referee. But he used it as a motivator and went onto score another penalty making it two goals for the night and a 4-0 victory for Al Nassr.

Ronaldo's performance this month was outstanding and he helped his team when they needed him the most. Thus, earning him the Saudi Player of the Month award for August.
