FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup 2022: India vs Brazil as it happened | An improved performance by India could not stop the samba dance

Despite a much-improved performance from India, they exit the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup without any victory or goal. Indian girls showed better coordination in defence and mid-field. However, a much stronger team in Brazil was always tough to get past for Thomas Dennerby's team. An early goal from Gabi disturbed all the discipline the Indian defence led by Astom showed in the India vs Brazil match.

Meantime, the Indian forward line started to show some confidence. No. 7 Neha found a

great opportunity in the 30th minute, but could not convert as she took an early shot from outside the box.

She again was in the scoring zone but was found off-side in the 38th minute of the game. After that, it was all Brazil as Aline scored from inside the box in the 40th minute of the game. India tried to do some resistance but did not succeed in that. A beautiful goal from Aline made it impossible for Indian girls to make a comeback.

Although India's journey at the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup comes to an end, there are lots of positives to be taken from this tournament.
