16 and 17-year-old kids from Colombia have made history. They are now the first-ever U-17 team from their country to qualify in the final of any world cup. Colombia defeated Nigeria in the penalties 6-5 to earn their spot in the final of the U17 Women's World Cup. Nigeria, who also played their first-ever semi-finals took everyone by shock to press a lot early in the match. In fact, in the first fifteen minutes of the game, they were the ones dominating the game. But, once the Colombian strikers started finding their groove it became harder for the Nigerian team to resist. But, they did. Faith, Edafe and Omamuzo kept Nigeria out of the danger from Yesica and Linda. Faith made three vital saves to deny Yesica and Linda. Finally, the game went to the penalties and Colombia's No. 1 Luisa Agudelo became their hero to deny Edafe and Comfort in the shootout.
