He has been entrusted with the team in this season's ISL and will hope to begin his career in India with a positive result. 2 times ISL winner, Chennaiyin FC didn't perform as they were expected to and lacked the prowess to keep their heads up. Chennaiyin FC has brought in some foreign players including Polish striker Lukasz Gikiewicz, who is likely to add experience to the attack and bring in goals, which was missing in the team last season.
