Indian Men's football team head coach named 27-member squad for the India vs Kuwait FIFA World Cup Qualifiers on June 6, in Kolkata. This match would be captain Sunil Chhetri's final international match.
Earlier, Stimac had named a 32-member squad for the training camp in Bhubaneshwar out of which Phurba Lachenpa, Parthib Gogoi, Imran Khan, Muhammad Hammad and Jithin MS have been released from the camp.

The 27-member squad will train in Bhubaneswar till 29th May and then will fly to Kolkata for their match. India currently sits at number two position in Group A with 4 points from 4 games while Qatar leads the group with 12 points from the same number of games. The top two teams from the group will qualify for Round 3 of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and book their place at the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 simultaneously.
India only have two games left in the group stage. They will face Kuwait on June 6 and Qatar on 11 June.
