FC Goa started their 2023-24 ISL campaign with a win against the newly promoted Punjab FC. It was a fairly one sided game in Goa's favour but Punjab had their chances too. In fact they did manage to score but it was wrongfully deemed Offside by the referee. But overall a win is nothing short of what Goa deserved to take away from the match. Punjab are yet to open their tally after playing two and losing both of the matches.
