Standing ovation for Jude Bellingham at the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium after referee blows the whistle. Real Madrid clinched the first El Classico by 2-1 at the away venue.

Luka Modric does well to keep the ball after receiving a pass from Carvajal. He bounces the ball over Martinez's head to find Bellingham, who makes no mistake to slot the ball inside the net from point-blank range.

Lamine Yamal goes for the scissor-kick the ball at goal. But Kepa saves it comfortably. Eventually, the flag goes up.

Joselu gets the ball inside the box but he takes too much time in getting his shot away, as Inigo Martinez snatches the ball away.

Barcelona are building pressure around the Real Madrid box. Lewandowski almost finds Raphinha with a through ball but Camavinga makes an excellent challenge to block the pass.

Madrid tries to break out on a counter-attack. Bellingham tried to find Vinicius Jr with a through ball but an inch-perfect tackle from Christensen takes the ball away.

Lewandowski goes for a first-time shot from distance. He misses the target but not by much.

What a goal this is from Bellingham. Jude scored out of nowhere and this surely deserves praise. Real Madrid were nowhere in the game and they needed a goal like this to make a comeback.

The shot beat a diving Ter Stegen and rattled the net. The Barca keeper had a touch of the ball but could not prevent it from going inside.

Cancelo makes a run inside the box and does well to keep the ball despite a tackle from Camavinga. He takes a shot at goal, but it takes a deflection and goes out for a corner.

Barcelona with a slick move down the right. Cancelo goes for an early cross inside the box, hoping to find a teammate but the cross is too close to the goal keeper.

Kroos with a grounded strike but Ter Stegen catches it comfortably.

Fermin provides an excellent cross inside the box and Inigo Martinez gets a header away at goal. The effort hits the post, despite the Madrid keeper diving at full-stretch. Then Araujo goes for a shot but Kepa denies it.

Rodrygo makes a run at goal aand goes for a shot on the volley but his effort does not trouble Ter Stegen.

Ferran with a nasty tackle on Vinicius to stop a Madrid counter. He sees the yellow card.

Araujo swings in a dangerous cross inside the box but Rudiger makes a timely clearance for a Barca corner.

Half-time at the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium. Barcelona are on the lead after Gündoğan scored his first career goal for Barcelona.

Joao Felix has a chance to make something as he gets the ball and makes a run inside the Madrid box. He goes for the shot but its is blocked 

Kroos goes for a shot from outside the box but it takes a deflection and trickles down to Ter Stegen.

Gavi slows the game again by stopping Bellingham.

Carvajal brings down Kroos' diagonal on the right side of the Barca box. He takes a shot from a tight angle but hits the side netting.

He once again tried to score a banger just like he did against Real Madrid in the pre season but it goes wide this time.

Ferran tries to cross from the right but it is intercepted by Alaba. Barcelona does well to keep the ball and stitch an attack again but ultimately Real Madrid survived.

Felix showed lovely feet to get the better of his marker. For a moment, he looked to be clear on goal but Caravajal made an excellent recovery and slid in to snatch the ball from him. Barcelona want a free kick but the referee waved the play to continue.

Barcelona at their best at this moment. Real Madrid are waiting patiently for an opening.

The goal scorer is down. A nasty foul by the Real Madrid midfielder.

Rudiger goes for a shot from the distance but it goes wide. Earlier Vini and Bellingham tried to create something but Barcelona's defence is giving their peak performance until now.

Sloppy defending from Madrid again. Gavi snatches the ball from Kroos and the ball falls to Fermín who shoots at the near-post. He beats Kepa but his shot rattles the woodwork and comes back into play. Fermín and the post, it's a never-ending love story

Carvajal tries to win the ball of Joao Felix, buts concedes a foul in the process.

Real Madrid are just unable to hold on to the ball. They are losing it so casually. Meanwhile, Barcelona are looking more confident on or off the ball.

İlkay Gündoğan scores his first goal for Barcelona. He is a true big match player. Horrible defending from Real Madrid. Real Madrid's backline is all over the place. Alaba is too slow to react and his sliding challenge is late as Gundogan slots the ball past Kepa with a clinical finish.

Bellingham intercepted the pass from Christensen and went for the attack through the left wing. Barcelona defenders found their shape back and pushed Bellingham to earn a goal kick.

Madrid are pressing high but the host keeping the ball comfortably.

Barcelona will face Real Madrid at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys on Saturday for the first El Classico of the La Liga 2023-24 season. The host has 51 home La Liga wins over Real Madrid. This match will not take place at Camp Nou due to the renovation work.

The previous La Liga fixture between Barcelona and Real Madrid played on March 19, 2023. It was finished as 2-1 in favor of Xavi Hernandez's side, after a late winner from Franck Kessie.

Real Madrid stays at the top after Bellingham scored a brace to make a comeback possible in the first El Classico of the La Liga 2023-24. Bellingham has already scored three added-time winners for Madrid. No player scored more than two in the 21st century. Barcelona's unbeaten start to the season finally comes to an end.

Despite missing several of their best players due to injury Barça thoroughly outplayed Madrid for 60 minutes and deserved a lot more from the game. Madrid were slow to get going and at times struggled to summon much of a goal threat, but Bellingham is just different. He scored a magical equalizer and then scored like a striker to help Los Blancos make the comeback possible.

The Blaugranas needed just six minutes to score first, as Gündogan tried a one-two with Ferran Torres at the edge of the box and won the ball off David Alaba in the box and calmly finished it through Kepa Arrizabalaga's legs.

Modric's presence in the second half changed a lot for Real Madrid. The first goal for Real Madrid came out of nowhere and Real Madrid are known for taking advantage of any chances and Bellingham took it. He scored a banger to make a comeback and then it was a classic Real Madrid comeback.

"We dominated for 60 minutes, but football is this - if you don't score the second goal, Madrid can do this. We needed five or six chances to score one, Madrid had three and took two. Our set up was good, we had patience, and made chances. We deserved the victory, from my point of view. But if you let Madrid off the hook, they can kill you," Xavi said after the match.
