Liverpool knocks out Arsenal to face Chelsea in Carabao cup final

A heroic performance in the first leg, Arsenal started the second leg positively as well. However, Liverpool knocks out Arsenal as the Gunners slowly succumbs to the Reds' fierce tactics. Diogo Jota opened the scoresheet for Liverpool in the 19th minute of the game after his mistimed shot found the back of the net.

Mikel Arteta's side saw them losing grip on the game as they failed to recreate their performances from the first leg. Liverpool eventually built into the better side, and Jota bagged his second in the 77th minute to put the game well and truly out of reach. It fully fell apart for Arsenal as the game dragged on.
