Andy Robertson quickly regained the possession to send in a cross, but Nuno Mendes made a crucial clearance.

Alexis Mac Allister gets booked for a foul.

That was a lively attack from Liverpool but Andy Robertson's ultimate strike was too poor to beat Donnarumma.

Kvaratskhelia unleashed a powerful strike following a quick counter by PSG, but he miscued his shot as it went just high over the crosspiece!

The Reds salvaged a string of opportunities, as the first chip-in from Salah was punched off by Donnarumma, and he went on to make another consecutive stop to keep Diaz quiet following his strike.

This is getting ridiculous for Liverpool!

Robertson delivered the set-piece free-kick into the box as Quansah guided his header on target, but the ball only rattled the far post and came back to play, rolling right in front of the goal-line.

However, during the follow-up attack, Quansah was flagged for offside.

Quansah had his first attempt to score following a corner, but he guided his header wide off the near post.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is forced off with an apparent injury.

Salah almost sprinted into the penalty area as Nuno Mendes seemingly pushed him down inside the box. Huge appeal from the Reds, but referee István Kovács indicated to continue the play.

Following a corner, Donnarumma punched the ball away, sending it in Salah's feet, who sliced a fierce strike from close to the goal on the right, but Kvara endured some defensive duty with a brilliant goal-line block!

Following a Mac Allister corner, Luis Diaz kept his header on target, but Donnarumma totally outstretched himself on his right to execute a crucial save, keeping the Reds goalless so far!

Szoboszlai unleashed another strike from the middle of the box, but Pacho intervened wit his right foot, leading to a spectacular block!

This is peak UCL night!

Diaz sent a crossfield pass to Arnold in the middle, who flashed a powerful strike that was punched down by Donnarumma. The rebound was quickly anticipated by Arnold again, who took another strike from the middle of the penalty area, which only rattled the right post and came off back to the play.

Following another pass from Diaz from the left, Szoboszlai slotted him home! The Anfield crowd erupts in joy, but the goal was disallowed as Diaz was flagged for offside!

Dembele spiralled a left-footed curler from just outside the box, but Konate intervened with his left foot, resulting in a deflection.

Kvara entered the box from the left in a speedy attack, trying to find some space as he attempted to dribble past his markers, but took a quick strike on the half-turn that was easily grabbed by Alisson.

Ousmane Dembele again orchestrated another attack from the right flank as he delivered a low grounder right into the middle of the penalty area, but Kvaratskhelia fired the ball just inches over the crossbar!

Dembele looked to be dangerous from running down the middle. He sprinted onwards but Alisson made a timely outing to collect the ball, denying the French forward from having a firm strike. 

Since a rapid first 20 minutes, the tempo of the game has slightly dropped. Liverpool looked to have lost a bit of rhythm overall, but the team is pushing to their best for the coveted opener.

These last couple of minutes have been stressful for the home side, but they are continually pushing to open their account tonight. Jota got the closest to a goal in this phase, but his header went over the crosspiece. Liverpool are pushing, surrounded by the loud chants from the spectators at Anfield.

Ousmane Dembélé equalizes the match with his 7th UCL goal, making it his 29th goal of the season.

That was a dangerous counter-attack by PSG from down the middle, as Neves carried it up to the box and Bradley Barcola went past Dijk but before taking a strike, Alisson came forward to deny the ball and colected it.

Ibrahima Konate lodged a cracker from a long distance, but Donnarumma made a calm collection.

Wilian Pacho and Achraf Hakimi made a double covering, forcing Diaz to fire the shot off target from inside the box.

Virgil Van Dijk powered a header from the middle, but Neves blocked it well. After a swift string of passes, Szoboszlai fired the final strike way over the crossbar.

Luis Diaz dribbled past the defender on the left, hoped to deliver a pin-point cross, but got deflected away.

Mohamed Salah is looking very sharp already! He entered the penalty area from the right, sweeping himself past the opposition defenders, but the inswing curler went just wide off the left-post.

Alexis Mac Allister cracked down the PSG defence on the left, before sending a grounded effort into the box which soared past the players in the middle. Salah anticipated it on the right, but his shot on target was blocked, thanks to a massive block from Nuno Mendes!

Liverpool snatched a fighting 1-0 victory against PSG at the Parc de Princes in the first leg, thanks to an 87-minute strike from Harvey Elliot, along with a masterclass performance from Liverpool custodian Alisson who made nine saves in total.

Mbappe set up Militao after making a mess of the defenders on the right.

Militao, however, missed the target by a mile. He is frustrated with his effort,

Mbappe placed it up for Guler to go for a curler. But the timid shot went straight to Di Gregorio.

Real Madrid are on the move as they win another corner. 

Cambiaso deflected the ball away as it was heading towards Valverde for an easy header.

Guler switched to the left and sent a lofted cross for Diaz to go for the header at the far post. 

But Cambiaso was there to make the interception.

Juventus again tried to create something in the counterattack. Kalulu went flying on the right but Carreras did well to get something on the ball and stop the attack.

Juventus have looked vulnerable from the set pieces. From the corner, Tchouaméni again had the chance to go for the goal with a low effort. However, it went wide.

Valverde and Diaz linked up well for this attack. The Real Madrid captain teed up Diaz to go for the shot from the right. But, Di Gregorio did well to make the save.

Guler, on the right, dodged the defender and then floated the ball with his left foot. However, it was a bit long for Militao to meet it.

Real Madrid have shifted the momentum of the match. They have now earned three consecutive corners. Tchouaméni heads the latest one over the goal.

Di Gregorio makes his first save of the night as Tchouaméni headed the service from the corner directly to the Juve goalkeeper. 

Another good save from Courtois. Gatti with a powerful right-footed shot. He was on target with his attempt.

The visitors have looked more threatening in the counterattack as they win their second corner within few minutes.

Pedri was challenged by Garcia, which allowed Dro to run away with the ball and then find Fermin for his assist on UCL debut.

Despite a great save from Tzolakis, Fermin scores for Barcelona.

Cunha and Mbuemo played a few passes among themselves, and then, as he saw the space, Cunha went for a curling left-footed shot. He missed the target though.

Konate with a visionary ball for Isak, whose right-footed attempt from the edge of the box was saved by Lammens. 

However, Isak was found offside after that attempt.

Double chance for Liverpool. 

First, Gakpo's cross was deflected by a defender, and it went on to brush the post. 

In the second chance, Salah's header went straight to Lammens.

Kerkez's cross was not cleared well by Shaw, and Isak had a full sight of the goal.

But, he could not get the shot from the sweet spot of his feet. 

Mbeumo's cross was for Cunha, whose effort was half saved by Mamardashvili. The rebound ball fell right in the place for Mount to latch on. But, he could not do that. 

Cunha switched the play, and Amad found Bruno with the cutback. The Manchester United captain should be on target from that position. 

But, he mistimed the shot and a chance gone begging for the Red Devils. 

Uffffff! 

Great football from Liverpool. Salah picked up the ball in the midfield and played it around the defenders for a great pass to Gakpo.

The Dutch striker, with a beautiful first touch, went around the defender and hit the post with a curling right-footed shot.

United are lucky here not to concede.

Salah had the chance to score from close range, but he wanted to give the ball back to Isak. Luke Shaw meantime, made the intervention to rescue it for United. 

From the free-kick, Salah's delivery found the Liverpool captain at the far post. However, a diving Van Dijk could not get the header on target.

Gakpo found Kerkez with a small pass inside the box. De Ligt tried to get around him, and Kerkez went down. Although they did not appeal for any penalty.
