Manchester United forward, Mason Greenwood hasn't posted on social media in over 1 year. He added a new image on his Instagram page on July 14. The black and white photo shows the hands of Greenwood, Harriet Robson, and the newborn baby, with the caption: "11.07.23". Greenwood was arrested by police in early 2022 for the allegations of rape, assault, and coercive and controlling behavior. A year later, the charges were dropped.

Manchester United suspended him and opened an internal investigation. The academy product was arrested a few months later for breaching the conditions of his bail. Almost a year later, shortly before an expected court date, all charges were dropped. He is yet to feature for the club but they are deciding whether it will be right or wrong.
Reports are saying, United would be 'open' to having Greenwood back involved at some stage. He was not among the squad when the Red Devils' senior players returned for pre-season, although was included on their retained list for 2023-24. Whenever Erik ten Hag was asked about the striker, he appreciated his talent. It is fair as Mason Greenwood was the best academy project since no one knows who. He was a lethal finisher which United are lacking right now. There remains a chance that the 21-year-old could play elsewhere, however, with Roma, Atalanta, and Juventus having been linked with the striker, potentially in a loan deal. But it will be interesting if Greenwood wants to go to another league, away from his home at this point.
