Lionel Messi's Inter Miami will play two matches in Saudi Arabia early next year. The Riyadh Season Cup, a three-team round-robin tournament, is part of the team's first international tour.

There are zero doubts about Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo's greatness. They are surely two of the greatest footballers in the history off Football. The pair have dominated Europe for more than 15 years, winning every domestic and Champions League title. They have already said their goodbyes to European Football.

One of the trophies missing in Ronaldo's cabinet is the FIFA World Cup, which Messi won last year. The Argentine led his side to victory against France at the FIFA World Cup final, in Qatar in December 2022. Messi was awarded the Golden Ball award for his incredible performances throughout the campaign and finished as the second-highest goalscorer just behind Kylian Mbappe.

Football fans across the world will be fortunate to witness the Messi vs Ronaldo once again. Both the players have faced each other more than 30 times in their careers, and have shared 13 Ballon d'Or awards between them, with the Argentine leading that race eight to five.

Messi received an offer to play in the Saudi league after leaving Paris St. Germain but decided to sign with Miami. Then, he led the team to a trophy in the Leagues Cup.

"This is another major opportunity to create lasting relationships with passionate fans," Inter Miami chief business officer Xavier Asensi said in a press release. "We are excited to connect with new supporters in Saudi Arabia, and also hope people all over the world will be tuning in to see a pair of dream matches like these."
