    Martinez's men are goalless in their last two Euro 2024 ties, having been defeated 2-0 by Georgia in their final Group F encounter and not scoring a single goal in the last 16 game against Slovenia. Diego Costa's heroics helped Portugal qualify for the Quarter-Final. Portugal are struggling to score goals. Ronaldo has gotten enough opportunities but hasn't delivered. He got a penalty against Slovenia but missed it from the spot.

    There are no fitness concerns for Portugal ahead of the quarter-final. Martinez may start the same XI on Saturday. Silva and Rafael Leao will play alongside Ronaldo upfront, while Vitinha and Joao Palhinha who have dropped brilliant performances lately will lead the midfield alongside Manchester United skipper Bruno Fernandes. Bruno has created lots of opportunities for the front players but the fans haven't witnessed any end product.

    Ruben Dias and Pepe will lead the backline with Mendes and Cancelo starting as the full backs. Diego Costa who saved three back-to-back spot kicks in the last game will surely start at the goal. He will have a busy day against the French attackers on Saturday.

The attackers have failed to deliver in those games but they are still here thanks to their solid backline and midfield. Theo Hernandez and Kounde are irreplaceable in the full-back roles while Kante is dropping masterclass performances in every single game.

    Adrien Rabiot is suspended after picking up his second yellow card of the tournament in the last-16 win over Belgium so he will miss the game against Portugal. Deschamps may start Real Madrid star Tchouameni in place of the ex-Juventus midfielder. 

    Dembele, Mbappe, and Kolo Muani will lead the attack line for France with Saliba and Upamecano at the back. Mike Maignan has been a brilliant shot-stopper for France until now and will be at the goal on Saturday to face the likes of Ronaldo and Leao.
