Trent Alexander-Arnold could be set to join Real Madrid with reports suggesting that the Liverpool defender has finally agreed to move. Alexander-Arnold has been Real Madrid's biggest transfer target over the past few years. After Kylian Mbappe's move to Real Madrid, Los Blancos boss Florentino Perez's main target was Trent. However, over the past few years, Trent declined all the Los Blancos offers.

According to reports from Caught Offside, Los Blancos has finally secured the signing of the English Full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold. According to the reports, Trent will join Real Madrid on a free transfer in the summer transfer window. Real Madrid has been working on this scene for over two years, and finally, Trent declined Liverpool's every offer and wants to join Real Madrid.
π¨ BREAKING: Alexander Arnoldβs signing is at 90%, practically DONE. He has a foot and a half in Real Madrid. @diarioaspic.twitter.com/8qDKDms2UY
Trent Alexander-Arnold has been linked with a move to Real Madrid this January with Los Blancos keen on restricting a deal despite being able to join as a free agent in the summer. Moreover, Trent wants to stay at Liverpool this season and now he has struck a verbal agreement with Los Blancos' boss Carlo Ancelotti (according to Marca). But it remains unclear whether the agreement means the deal will go through this month.
Liverpool already rejected a bid from Real Madrid in this winter transfer window. Although Liverpool and Real Madrid's management have remained quiet about this deal, it is looking like Trent wants to finish this season as a Liverpool player before waving goodbye to the Reds.

Trent is a talented right-back and has been a key player for Liverpool in recent years his quality has caught the eyes of Real Madrid's management. European giants like Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona were also in this transfer saga competing with Real Madrid, but Trent himself chose the Los Blancos. Liverpool's manager Arne Slot tried everything to convince the player to stay, but it seems that the English full-back already made his decision to move to the Spanish capital, where he will join Carlo Ancelotti's managed side.

Final verdict!
So it will be another El Classico in the Copa Del Rey final in Sevilla. Barcelona were the better team and attacked more in the first half, resulting in a goal from Ferran Torres. They could have scored more if they had latched onto the chances created mainly by Lamine Yamal.
But atletico Madrid brought in three changes at the start of the second half, which made them attack more frequently and freely.
However, despite a few chances, they were not able to score. Jules Kounde was excellent for Barcelona, making multiple blocks in the final 15 mins of the game.
This means that Barcelona will meet Real Madrid in the Copa del Dey final and will be another step closer to their target of a treble.

Atletico Madrid vs FC Barcelona Copa Del Rey 2024-25 Semi-final 2 Second Leg Match Preview: Head-to-head, Possible Lineups and Fantasy XI Prediction
Read the full match preview of the Atletico Madrid vs FC Barcelona clash tonight in the Copa Del Rey 2024-25 Semi-final 2, Second Leg at the Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid, Spain.
Atletico Madrid are set to host FC Barcelona in a fiery second-leg game in the Copa Del Rey 2024-25 Semi-final 2, as a nail-biting encounter will unfold tonight at the Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid, Spain.
The tie is currently poised in a thrilling position with the Copa Del Rey final at stake after the teams shared the spoils in a 4-4 draw on 26 February, in the first leg at the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium in Barcelona.
Real Madrid have sealed their passage to the finals following another thrilling 4-4 draw against Real Sociedad, advancing 5-4 in aggregate. The second semi-final tonight will set up a potential El Clascio or Madrid Derby in the Copa Del Rey 2024-25 Final on April 26 at the Estadio La Cartuja in Sevilla.
From possible starting XIs to Fantasy predictions, here is everything you need to know about the Atletico Madrid vs FC Barcelona Second Leg match in the Copa Del Rey 2024-25 Semi-final 2.
They failed to keep up a two-goal advantage to lose 4-2 in their home league match against league-leaders Barcelona, before they came back from the international break with a 1-1 draw against Espanyol in an away match. Consequently, the Copa del Rey is Atletico's best hope to lift a trophy this season as they will be seeking to win the tournament for the first time since 2012-13.
However, head coach Diego Simeone must look for the best combination before fielding his eleven tonight. Veteran midfielder Koke is set to miss this game, whereas Robin Le Normand is doubtful. Forward Angel Correawill serve the third of a five-match ban.
The semi-final tie with Barcelona is perfectly balanced after Atletico scored two late goals to earn a 4-4 draw in last month's away leg, though the Rojiblancos may find themselves tensed by the fact that they have not advanced beyond their previous three Copa del Rey semi-final ties.

Unlike their hosts, FC Barcelona are still in the race to win three more titles alongside the Spanish Super Cup, won in January. The Blaugranas have registered a 20-game unbeaten streak in all competitions (W17, D3) since losing 2-1 to Atletico Madrid in December's league match at home.
They are sitting atop the La Liga table with 66 points in 29 games, are in the Champions League quarter-finals, and are on the verge of qualifying for a first Copa del Rey final since clinching it in 2020-21.
Interestingly, The Catalan side have defeated each of their last three away games against Atletico since losing 2-0 to them in a La Liga encounter in October 2021.
Barcelona gaffer Hansi Flick announced Raphinha and Cubarsi's return to the team. On the other hand, Marc Andre Ter Stegen returned to training but will not be available. Marc Casado suffered an unfortunate injury, while Marc Bernal and Andreas Christensen are recovering from long-term injuries.

Pedri, the young FC Barcelona midfielder, has drawn serious interest from the reigning Premier League champions, Manchester City, who are reportedly ready to offer a whopping β¬100 million for the Spanish midfielder.
According to El Nacional, former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola, who is currently at the helm of Man City, has conveyed his interest to the Club's upper echelons to rope in the 22-year-old midfielder.

Pedri has been enjoying a great season at FC Barcelona, having scored 5 goals and provided 7 assists in 44 appearances for the Catalan giants this season. However, his contribution goes beyond the goal involvements, which shows why he has won eight Man of the Match awards in his last ten games for the club.
The 22-year-old midfielder is currently on a mega five-year contract with Barcelona that runs until June 2030. Pedri's contract also includes a release clause set at β¬1 billion, implying his utmost importance in building the long-term planning of FC Barcelona.
Manchester City see Pedri as the ideal midfield addition, but Barcelona have no plans to sell the 22-year-old. pic.twitter.com/6ECEUQ9AR6
However, Pedri is currently valued at β¬120 million, according to transfermarkt, which is significantly higher than what Manchester City are keen to offer.
The English club has reportedly assessed all the financial aspects and feasibilities of the bid and are prepared to put forward a β¬100 million transfer fee offer to Barcelona.
Despite the reports, Pedri has not shown any interest in leaving the Blaugrana colours since joining the club from Las Palmas in September 2019, whereas Barcelona will also not be very keen to let Pedri leave.
With the potential departure of key midfielder Kevin De Bruyne said to be imminent, Pep Guardiola is looking to rejuvenate his midfield structure while keeping an eye on Pedri. Nico Gonzalez, another former Barcelona midfielder, was acquired by Man City in February 2025.
