On Sunday, February 18, 2024, head coach Langam Chaoba Devi revealed the roster for the 23-member Indian Women's Football Team, set to compete in the prestigious Turkish Women's Cup 2024. The tournament, scheduled to take place in Alanya, Turkey, from February 21 to 27, 2024, marks a significant opportunity for the team to showcase their talent on the international stage.

Following an intensive week-long training camp in Bangalore, the team is poised to embark on their journey to Turkey on Monday, February 19, 2024. This will be India's third appearance in the tournament, having previously participated in 2019 and 2021.

Expressing the significance of the upcoming tournament, AIFF Acting Secretary General Mr. M. Satyanarayan emphasized, "Our Senior Women's National Team are going to play for the first time after the Olympic Qualifiers, which makes the Turkish Women's Cup an important tournament for us."

Acknowledging the support received during the training camp, Mr. Satyanarayan extended gratitude to Army units MEG and ASC for their cooperation, along with Bengaluru FC for facilitating the necessary facilities for the team's preparation.

"The players have had a week-long preparation before flying off to Turkey, and I, on behalf of the AIFF, would like to thank Army units MEG and ASC for their cooperation during the camp, and Bengaluru FC for helping us out in getting the facilities. While MEG provided their ground for the team's training, ASC helped arrange a practice match,"

During the camp in Bengaluru, AIFF Vice President Mr. N.A. Haris paid a visit to the team, offering words of encouragement and outlining the Federation's plans for the continued development of the Blue Tigresses.

In the upcoming tournament, the Blue Tigresses are set to face tough competition from Estonia, Kosovo, and Hong Kong in a round-robin format. The title will be claimed by the team that finishes atop the standings, adding an extra layer of excitement to the highly anticipated event.

Goalkeepers: Shreya Hooda, Elangbam Panthoi Chanu, Monalisha Devi Moirangthem.

Defenders: Ashalata Devi Loitongbam, Ranjana Chanu Sorokhaibam, Dalima Chhibber, Juli Kishan, Astam Oraon, Shilky Devi Hemam.

Midfielders: Anju Tamang, Sangita Basfore, Karthika Angamuthu, Manisha, Kajol Dsouza, Indumathi Kathiresan.

Forwards: Grace Dangmei, Soumya Guguloth, Karishma Purushottam Shirvoikar, Sandhiya Ranganathan, Sanju, Pyari Xaxa, Kaviya Pakkirisamy, Jyoti.  

Head coach: Langam Chaoba Devi.
