The UEFA Euro 2024 group stages concluded with Georgia becoming the last team to qualify for the knockouts. The top two teams from each group booked their spot while the four best 3rd-placed teams also advanced to the next stage. While many teams took their step towards the next phase, a few big teams suffered an early elimination from the competition this season. It's time we look at all the 16 teams that have qualified for the Round of 16 of the 2024 UEFA Euro competition.

UEFA Euro 2024: Teams that Qualified for the Round of 16

Germany and Switzerland qualified for the knockouts from Group A. Germany topped the group, winning two matches and a draw against Switzerland. From Group B, Italy and Spain qualified. Italy finished with Spain topping the group with all nine points. From Group C, England, Denmark and Slovenia advanced to the knockout stages. England topped the group with 5 points while Denmark finished second after playing three draws.

From Group D, France, Austria, and Netherlands qualified for the knockouts and Austria topped the group after a thrilling victory against the Netherlands. The Netherlands finished 3rd in the group despite starting the campaign with a victory over Poland. In Group E, Romania qualified as group winners while Belgium also progressed as the runners-up from the group. Slovakia also progressed as the 3rd-placed team from the group with 4 points.

Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal made it to the last 16 as Group winners. Turkey joined them as the runners-up while Georgia qualified as the final team from the group. They beat Portugal 2-0 on the last matchday to book their spot for the knockouts in their first Euro appearance.

Six bottom teams of the six groups and two bottom among the 3rd-placed teams of Euro 2024 were eliminated from Euro 2024. The eliminated teams are Scotland (Group A), Albania (Group B), Serbia (Group C), Poland (Group D), Ukraine (Group E) and Czech Republic (Group F). They got eliminated after finishing at the bottom of their groups. Among the 3rd-placed teams, Hungary (Group A) and Croatia (Group B) also got knocked out of the tournament.
