The 17-year-old FC Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal has broken yet another record, this time in the prestigious El Clasico against arch-rivals Real Madrid. Lamine scored against Real Madrid in FC Barcelona's emphatic 4-0 victory in LaLiga 2024-25 at the Santiago Bernabéu to become the youngest-ever footballer to put himself on the scoresheet in a Clasico game, surpassing Alfonso Navarro, who had held the record since 1947!

Yamal scored in the 77th minute of the game to make it 3-0 for Barcelona with an exceptional finish with his weaker right foot that fired the ball into the net.
Here in this special article, Sportzpoint brings you the list of the youngest-ever goalscorers in the history of El Clasico.
9. Lionel Messi | 19 years and 259 days | 2007
Lionel Messi is undoubtedly the greatest player ever to play for the Blaugranas. He scored his first goal against Real Madrid at the age of 19 years and 259 days in the El Clasico of 2006-07 Laliga at Camp Nou. In fact, he scored a hat-trick to end the match in a 3-3 draw.
Messi is still the youngest player to score a hat-trick in a Clasico and he is the only one to do it twice as he scored three goals against Los Blancos at the Bernabeu in 2014.
8. Vinicius Jr. | 19 years and 233 days | 2020
The gifted young Brazilian is already an inseparable part of Los Blancos and he has proved himself to earn that place.
Being 19 years and 233 days old at that time, Vinicius Jr. opened the scoring in the 71st minute in Madrid's dominating 2-0 win over Barcelona on 2 March 2020. It was an important win for Real Madrid as they went on to win the LaLiga 2019-20.
7. Francisco Calvet | 19 years and 20 days | 1941
Francisco Calvet, former center-back of FC Barcelona, scored the first goal for FC Barcelona in the 25th minute of the first Clasico of Laliga 1941-42. However, Madrid had the last laugh with a 4-3 win over Barcelona in that match at the Bernabeu on 19 October 1941.
Calvet was at the age of 19 years and 20 days when he scored that goal. His second position was intact until 1995 when Raul Gonzalez snatched the record.
6. Roger Garcia | 18 years and 289 days | 1995
Former FC Barcelona midfielder Roger Garcia scored the equalizer and the only goal for FC Barcelona in the first El Clasico of Laliga 1995-96 season. He scored in the 31st minute in this iconic 1-1 draw against Madrid at the Bernabeu on 30 September 1995.
Garcia became the third on the list of youngest scorers in El Clasico at that time because he was only 18 years and 289 days old. Coincidentally, Raul Gonzalez scored in the same match to be the second on this list.
5. Gavi | 18 years and 163 days | 2023
Another young Barcelona talent at this moment, midfielder Gavi scored his first goal in Clasico in an all-important face-off against Real Madrid in the 2022-23 Spanish Supercopa final on 16 January 2023 at the King Fahd International Stadium in Saudi.
Gavi opened the scoring for Barcelona in the 33rd minute. He also assisted in the other two Barcelona goals, leading them to a 3-1 victory and lifting the trophy. Gavi was 18 years and 163 days of age at that time.
4. Raul Gonzalez | 18 years and 95 days | 1995
Former Los Blancos forward Raul Gonzalez scored in the same Clasico as Roger Garcia in the 1-1 draw on 30 September 1995, and both entered this list. Garcia scored the equalizer in response to Raul's goal.
Raul opened the scoring in the 12th minute of the game and he was at the age of 18 years and 95 days. Raul entered the list in 1995 as the second-youngest player to score in a Clasico match.
3. Ansu Fati | 17 years and 359 days | 2020
Ansu Fati may have lost his place in the core-team planning of FC Barcelona recently, but the fact that he started to emerge as a dependable player for Barca at such a young age, and that too in a tough time for his club, is something very appreciable and shows his capability on the pitch.
However, Fati topped every other player on this list in 2020 and surpassed his then-teammate Lionel Messi to become the second-youngest player ever to score in a Clasico. He also became the youngest Barca player to score in a Clasico game at the age of 17 years and 359 days on 24 October 2020.
Fati scored the equalizer and the only goal for Barcelona in the 8th minute against Real Madrid. However, Barcelona lost the match by 1-3 eventually.
2. Alfonso Navarro | 17 years and 356 days | 1947
It was Alfonso Navarro who had the first place in this list for 77 years, until 2024. Navarro was a forward for FC Barcelona who set the record in 1947 at the age of 17 years of 356 days.
Alfonso Navarro scored in the 39th minute of the game to double up Barca's lead in the El Clasico on 30 March 1947. After the final whistle, Barcelona had a 3-2 victory over Real Madrid.
Also, he is one of those players who played for either side of the Spanish giants as he joined Real Madrid in 1950 but came back to play for Barca in 1954.
1. Lamine Yamal | 17 years and 106 days | 2024
The 17-year-old youngster Lamine Yamal has stormed into the list and he is already the most high-profile young footballer on the planet at this moment. Now he has broken the 77-year record held by Navarro at the age of 17 years and 106 days.
Lamine scored the third goal for Barcelona in the 77th minute during the thrilling first El Clasico of the LaLiga 2024-25 season on 27 October 2024.
