Olympians Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar and Anjum Moudgil finished on top in the men's and women's 50m rifle 3 positions (3P) Olympic Trials T3 qualification rounds respectively at the MP State Shooting Academy (MPSSA) ranges in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday.
After 20 consecutive shots in kneeling, prone and standing positions, Anjum scored 592/600, her highest OST to date, while Aishwary scored another quality score of 590 to top the five-player field in the qualification round of Olympic Trials T3. Both Anjum and Aiswary made a strong comeback in their quest to represent India at the Paris Olympics 2024 despite a horror show in trial T1.
The pair will return with their four other competitors on Thursday morning for the competition finals, where vital podium points are up for grabs, preparing for a battle to the finish.

India's number one and final world record holder Sift Kaur Samra finished second in the women's 3P with a score of 589, while three others, Ashi Chouksey, Nischal, and Shriyanka Sadangi shot the same total of 585.
