The pride of India, PV Sindhu finally enters the quarter-final of the Denmark Open Super 1000 tournament after a nail-biting game against Busanan Ongbamrungphan. PV Sindhu won against her Thailand opponent in three games 21-16, 12-21, 21-15 in 67 minutes.

After winning the bronze in the Tokyo Olympics, this is Sindhu's first tournament. She took a small break and recharge herself before jumping back into tournaments after tournaments.
Also, Lakshya Sen will be seen playing against world no. 2 with Axelsen in the round of 16. Lastly, Sameer Verma will be playing against Anders Antonsen of Denmark in the Denmark Open.
