ISL 2023-24: Kolkata to host the final if Mohun Bagan win semis against Odisha FC

The venue of the final will be decided based on the positions of the two teams that will qualify for the finals of the Indian Super League 2023-24, FSDL confirmed. The teams who are better placed in the league points table will play the final at their home ground. This means, if Mohun Bagan Super Giant manages to reach the final after beating Odisha FC in the semi-final then the final of the ISL 2023-24 will be played at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata. MBSG are sitting at the top of the points table and that gives them the advantage to play the final at home if they make their spot in the final.

Mohun Bagan, Odisha, Goa, and Mumbai are the semi-finalists of the ISL 2023-24

Mohun Bagan Super Giant won the league shield by defeating Mumbai City FC 2-1 in the last match of the league stage on April 15. They are placed at the top with 48 points in 22 matches, the highest in the history of the ISL. Odisha FC and FC Goa emerged victorious in their knockout matches against Kerala Blasters and Chennaiyin FC respectively to secure the spots for the semi-finals.

So, now Odisha FC will face Mohun Bagan in the first semi-final and Goa will face Mumbai in the second semi-final of the Indian Super League 2023-24.
