India's Sainath Pardhi won the bronze medal in the 51kg Greco-Roman event on Wednesday in Amman, Jordan as India finished the U17 Wrestling World Championships 2024 with two medals. Earlier Ronak Dahiya had won the bronze medal in the 110kg category.

Sainath secured India's second medal
Sainath was defeated by Turan Dashdamirov of Azerbaijan by 4-0(9-0) in the round of 16. However, he reached the repechage round since Dashdamirov reached the final.
Saintah Pardhi faced Domenic Michael Munaretto of the USA in the repechage round and then beat the American by 3-1(7-1). In the bronze medal match, Saintah beat Yerassyl Mussan of Kazakhstan by 3-1(3-1) to win the bronze medal.

Turan Dashdamirov of Azerbaijan won the Gold medal while Kutman Kalbaev of Kyrgyzstan won the silver medal. India's Sainath Pardhi and Abolfazl Mehrdad Karamiegaei of Iran won the bronze medals.
