The BCCI Awards 2024 ceremony held in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Started in 2006-07, the BCCI Awards is an annual ceremony, where the Board of Control for Cricket in India honours standout performers from the preceding years. It also presents other honours like Lifetime Achievement awards to select individuals each year.

Mohammed Shami was named the Best International Cricketer of the Year (men) for the 2019-20 season while spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was named the winner for 2020-21. Jasprit Bumrah was awarded with the 2021-22 Polly Umrigar Award while young opener Shubman Gill was named the Best International Cricketer of the Year (men) for 2022-23.
Deepti Sharma and Smriti Mandhana shared the four Best International Cricketer of the Year (women) awards. While Deepti took the honours for 2019-20 and 2022-23, Smriti was awarded for 2020-21 and 2021-22.
Yashaswi Jaiswal bagged the 2022-23 edition of the Best International Debut (men) award. Former India player and coach Ravi Shastri and Farokh Engineer were also honoured with the Col. C. K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award.
