Australia has made a major reshuffle in its team for the INDvsAUS last three T20 matches. Six players including Steve Smith and Glenn Maxwell, who were part of the World Cup 2023 winning team, have been rested. At the same time, Josh Philippe, Ben McDermott, and Chris Green have entered the team. The Kangaroo team is trailing 2-0 in the five-match series.

Ahead of the INDvsAUS series-deciding third T20 against at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati, Australia have made a number of changes to their squad, giving much-needed rest to many of the players from the World Cup-winning side and giving opportunities to fresh faces. For the last three T20 matches, the Kangaroo team has rested senior players like Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis,Josh Inglis, Sean Abbott, Steve Smith, and Adam Zampa.

According to reports, Steve Smith, Adam Zampa have already left for Australia, while Maxwell, Stoinis, Inglis and Sean Abbott will leave for home after the INDvsAUS third T20 match. Josh Philippe and McDermott will be available for the third T20, while Chris Green and Ben Dwarshuis will join the team by Wednesday.

The performance of the Australian team has been disappointing in both the INDvsAUS T20 matches played so far. In the first T-20 match, the Kangaroo team had to face defeat by 2 wickets. Whereas, in the second match, Australia had to face defeat by 44 runs.

The performance of the team's batsmen has been strong, but the their bowlers have not been able to live up to the expectations. In the second T-20, the team's bowlers gave away 235 runs in 20 overs. At the same time, in the first T20 also, Australia's bowlers were badly beaten. To keep themselves alive in the INDvsAUS series, Australia will have to win the third T20 at any cost.
