A report by ESPN Cricinfo has revealed that during the ongoing INDvsENG Test series, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had contacted Ishan Kishan to play the series. Whereas Kishan refused BCCI's offer saying he is still not ready to play.
Ishan Kishan was not included in BCCI's central contract list
BCCI had released the central contract list a few days ago, regarding which Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer are two big names who are in the headlines because they have not been given the central contract. Iyer and Kishan were continuously getting opportunities in the Indian team, yet they have not been included in the list. Reports suggest that their reluctance to not participate in domestic cricket could be the reason for this decision.

Especially if we talk about Ishan Kishan, he demanded a break from the Test series against South Africa citing personal reasons. However, it was expected that Kishan would use this time away from the national team to play domestic cricket. But he decided not to participate in the Ranji Trophy matches of his state team Jharkhand.
Similarly, Shreyas Iyer also could not participate in the Ranji Trophy match for Mumbai due to injury. However, the National Cricket Academy's report on his injury has refuted this claim.

Circumstances seem to be worsening for Ishan Kishan
