Virat Kohli departed for a Golden Duck Against Rajasthan Royals

Virat Kohli failed to open his copy and departed for a first-ball duck in the 32nd match of the IPL 2023 against Rajasthan Royals. Trent Boult, who has taken wickets in the first over in many fixtures this season, dismissed the Royal Challengers Bangalore's stand-in captain in front of the wickets right on the first delivery. This is Virat's 7th golden duck of his IPL career. He is now the fourth batter with the most number of golden ducks in IPL history. This is a record, Kohli would always like to forget.

Kohli decided to walk back without having any discussion with Faf du Plessis. Kohli is leading RCB in the ongoing fixture. Faf du Plessis, who opened the innings with Virat Kohli, is part of the playing XI but he isn't fit to the field due to a rib injury and will be replaced in the second innings.

RCB are playing in a green jersey against RR and the change in clothing hasn't been a memorable one for Virat Kohli in the past couple of seasons. Last year as well, Kohli failed to open his account and departed for a one-ball duck in the green jersey.
