Manchester United crushed Leicester City by 3-0 in the Premier League 2024-25 last night, concluding Ruud Van Nistelrooy's caretaking managership tenure at Old Trafford.

Captain Bruno Fernandes pulled off an early strike and forced another own goal in favour of United to hand them a 2-0 lead at the break. Alejandro Garnacho came off the bench to score an exquisite long-ranger in the 82nd minute to wrap up the game, and Manchester United earned all three points at Old Trafford.ย

However, the young Argentine forward was seen refusing to celebrate after he scored, and the TV camera caught Captain Bruno Fernandes while he was talking to him. At the full-time, United players were seen cheering Garnacho up along with the Captain.

This incident sparked many initial theories among the Red Devils' fans regarding Garnacho's non-celebration until Captain Bruno Fernandes spoke up about it in the post-match interview. He told BBC Sport:

"Garnacho scored a banger but didn't celebrate like he should because he thinks he has lost faith of some fans"

"I told him people will always moan but lots of people like you and enjoy what you do."

"I told him to celebrate, it was something special. He is a special player, we have difference makers. They are the ones who win us games. We want them to score every game but that isn't going to happen."
